Happy Father’s Day. Thank you for your contributions to your families. In the US, at least, I don’t think we have shown enough support or encouragement of you. We haven’t valued you enough in our collective conscious.
Often, we see you as a bulwark and not the human that you are. That’s a mistake.

Today marks the 86th day of the war in Ukraine, but who’s counting anymore. The war has become a habit. The shock and anger of the first few weeks has morphed into complacency.
MoreRussia’s invasion of Ukraine has moved and challenged me to do something. I have written about the invasion on this blog and more extensively on my other blog- notesfromtheundergroundblog.com, where I write about current events. I have also come up with ideas for cartoons. I was lucky enough to work with a talented cartoonist, Sumit, aka scorpydesign on Fiverr. I presented a detailed description and he fulfilled it. Sometimes there were minor changes, but I think he did a great job capturing what I wanted to relay. I hope you enjoy these cartoons. I’m proud of the work we have done together.
